When we think of fashion, what comes to mind is glamour and affluence, but Parson’s fashion student envisioned something quite different when designing her graduation project - the Syrian refugee crisis. Her award winning work has thrust design into the humanitarian discourse.

Any good partnered with Adiff for refugees to create a new type of fashion brand - one that makes an actual difference in the lives of refugees. Luna has a vision for fashion, and we gave her vision a digital life.

The brand was created by Any™ to reflect the values of the Adiff clothing line - a lifeline and a home. Inspired by life vests, Adiff set out to design coats that could double as tents and provide displaced people with a literal roof over their head.

Strategy

Like all good ideas, Luna needed funds to make it a reality, but instead of going to investors, we decided to go public. Focusing on Social Media as our auction podium, we created a whole new look and feel for the brand that highlight the product’s qualities.

 The Adiff Kickstarter page pre-sold the jacket with a humanitarian twist and for every jacket sold, another will be sent to refugee camps in Greece, as a part of the greater Adiff project. 

Measuring the results is key to the project’s success.

The Sum of Success 

The Adiff Kickstarter raised a whopping $97,397 and gained over 30M views, bringing a new awareness to the unfolding crisis. Luna’s jackets are just part of her ethical vision for design and Any is proud to be part of the team that enabled her work to take shape.
