A&E partnered with Samsung to create a beautfiful brand platform, centered aroud "Brave storytelling" called Look Closer. Look Closer expresses A&E's brand values and positions them as a brand that documents and provides a stage for true stories filled with humanity and sensitive to preserve nuanced identities.
With a partnership with Samsung, A&E created a series of videos and interviews with real people’s stories shot on the Samsung Galaxy S8. An interactive web experience based on the Look Closer campaign was designed to increase the audience’s connection to A&E’s mission.
Interactions throughout the video experiences work to provide insight into the different meanings of the same words to different people. As the viewer taps different words through the poem they discover other perspectives. Definitions become subjective from different life journeys, A&E wanted to highlight what those meant exactly.
A destination page allowed for a comprehensive insight to each of the people in the campaign, from the stars to the journalists. One can explore the Brave Storytellers as much or as little as they’d like at their own pace.
